read more »The Poznań International Fair has a long history – running since 1921. At first the fairs were a national event, created by Poznań merchants. They rapidly developed though, due to the needs of international trade, into an international venture. In the pre-war years, thanks to their satisfied exhibitors, they were already well-renowned, the fourth largest exhibitions in Europe. The General National Exhibition of 1929 was an enormous success, visited by about 4.5 mln people!
Today the Poznań International Fair have become one of the most recognisable symbols of the city of Poznań and the most important event holder of its kind in Poland.
